Flip Crepes and Waffles has taken over the old Swah-Rey dessert space at 625 Central Avenue. Sweet and savory stuffed crepes, an assortment of fluffy waffles, flaky croissants, and fresh coffee are all on the menu at this intimate concept.

The fresh bakery offers a wide variety of specialty items with an indoor and outdoor seating both available. Flip Crepes and Waffles officially opened on Wednesday, March 9, and operating hours appear to be 9:30 am – 8 pm.

This concept joins another restaurant coming soon at 601 Central Avenue, Bonu Taverna. The restaurant will offer a taste of Sicily to the Sunshine City.

Cider Press Cafe, which formerly operated at 601 Central Avenue, closed in early December and will soon debut a new vegan gastropub in the Shoppes of Kenwood in the former Georgie’s Alibi. The vegan gastropub will feature a full liquor bar.
