Flatbread & Butter brings vegan and gluten-free pastries to historic Uptown

Flatbread & Butter brings vegan and gluten-free pastries to historic Uptown

The newly opened coffee shop in Historic Uptown, Flatbread & Butter Co., strives to be a community-focused neighborhood café.
Currently, they offer a limited menu sourced entirely from local St. Pete business. They serve Bandit Coffee served in Kind Studio Mugs, snacks from Mana Bakery Company, and local Kombucha.
What do you need to try? Well, previous menu items include a vegan chocolate tamini banana bread, a gluten-free white chocolate and pistachio blondie, and a strawberry mascarpone and lemon scone. You can enjoy any of those baked goods for under four bucks.

The idea for Flatbread & Butter came from owner Jesse Muire noticing that the food choices at their favorite coffee spots many times didn’t extend beyond pastries. Muire wanted to combine the atmosphere of a laid back coffee shop with his favorite breakfast and brunch spots.
After their opening last weekend, Flatbread & Butter is starting to expand their menu. A larger menu including flatbread, beer, and wine is coming soon, maybe as soon as next week! Go visit them and let us know what your favorite new menu item is in the comments.
Follow the restaurant on Facebook for updates.
