John Splithoffโs debut album, All In, is a bold, soulful collection thatโs been years in the making. Recorded in New York and LA, the album reflects nearly a decade of highs and lows, blending R&B swagger with introspective lyrics and a touch of funk. Inspired by artists like DโAngelo and Prince, Splithoff wrote and recorded much of the album solo, only to find new energy through collaborations with LA producers.
Themes of love, self-discovery, and resilience shine throughout, with tracks like โNote to Selfโ and โValueโ embracing personal growth and meaningful connections over material possessions. Despite setbacks like losing his favorite guitar in a break-in, Splithoff turned doubt into determination, crafting an immersive record that celebrates relationships and inner strength.
