St. Pete actor Eugenie Bondurant makes devilish turn in The Conjuring 3

The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It arrives in theaters and on HBO Max June 4, and the film stars the enigmatic and supremely talented Eugenie Bondurant as “The Occultist.” The film also stars St. Pete native Patrick Wilson, alongside Vera Farmiga reprising their roles as the late Ed and Lorraine Warren.

In the latest teasers and trailers St. Pete actor Eugenie Bondurant can be seen peering through windows at our protagonists, chasing them through underground tunnels, and etching satanic symbols.

Eugenie Bondurant brings the scares in The Conjuring 3

This film follows Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren as they try to uncover the truth behind a murderer’s claim of demonic possession. Titled “The Devil Made Me Do It,” The Conjuring 3 circles around a real-life murder case that involved a suspect who claimed “demonic possession.”

Eugenie Bondurant was already part of the recently released thriller “Fear of Rain” starring Harry Connick Jr and Katherine Heigl.

Bondurant’s previous acting credits include the blockbuster success “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.”

Film projects find a home in St. Petersburg

Back in 2020, Justin Long was in town with Ryan Philippe, Melanie Lynskey, and Luis Guzman for the film “Lady of the Manor.” Scenes were filmed in Jannus Live and The Rusty Pelican, in addition to several neighborhoods around the ‘Burg.

The first original scripted series developed by destination marketing organizations for streaming services, the show follows the life of Dan Kinney, played by actor Sebastian Rocha as he adjusts to an unexpected shift in lifestyle and circumstance. A privileged son of a high-profile wealth manager, Dan had it easy, until he waged everything on a big gamble and lost.
