Do Good Day is back, turning Ferg’s Sports Bar & Grill (1320 Central Ave) into a hub of community action on Saturday, March 29, 2025. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., nearly 40 local nonprofits will gather in downtown St. Pete’s EDGE District to connect with the community, share their missions, and recruit volunteers.

The event started as a simple conversation about the overwhelming number of nonprofits in the area and the challenge of finding ways to help. Organizers saw an opportunity to bridge the gap, making it easier for locals to discover causes that align with their passions.

Learn about volunteer opportunities in Pinellas County

Attendees can visit nonprofit booths, learn about their impact, and sign up for volunteer opportunities on the spot. This year’s lineup features well-known organizations alongside hidden gems, including Friends of Strays, CASA, Keep Pinellas Beautiful, Tampa Bay Watch, Daystar Life Center, Creative Clay, St. Pete Free Clinic, and Positive Impact St. Pete. Whether you’re passionate about environmental conservation, animal welfare, senior care, or youth mentorship, there’s a nonprofit ready to welcome your support.

Beyond the nonprofit fair, Do Good Day packs in even more fun. Guests can play an interactive bingo game for door prizes, snap photos inside the Good Times Roll VW bus, and grab a sweet treat from the Goodness Gracious Great Balls of Love Ice Cream Food Truck. The truck’s mission is just as heartwarming as its desserts—it helps developmentally disabled individuals gain experience in the hospitality industry.

How to get involved with this exceptional event

A special shoutout goes to Mark Ferguson and the Ferg’s Bar & Grill team for hosting, as well as Amanda Mayer of Moments of St. Pete for handling marketing, social media, and photography.

Adding to the excitement, Do Good Day coincides with Mezzo Market on Baum Ave, a popular local vendor market that will bring even more foot traffic and visibility to the event’s nonprofits and sponsors.

The event is free, family- and pet-friendly, and open to all. While nonprofit registration is full for this event, organizations interested in future Do Good Days can reach out to get involved. Sponsorship opportunities and door prize contributions are still available—so if you’re looking for a way to do good, now’s your chance!
