Dissent Craft Brewing Company Opening Saturday

smith and associates

Two home-brewers Dale Miller and Chris Price decided to take their favorite hobby and turn it into a new business that is about to hit St. Petersburg. Located at 5518 Haines Rd. Dissent Craft Brewing Company is having their opening event this Saturday at 6pm. You can expect live acoustic music from local singer/songwriter Kate Reuter, Brewburgers Taphouse catering, and of course new brews. To add to their already diverse selection of brews at the opening event, Dissent will be releasing their new Imperial Stout and an additional Kettle Sour which is a play on a Piña Colada and will be a Pineapple Coconut Sour. The inside of Dissent Craft Brewing Company can be described as industrial but it is mixed with elements like raw wood to give it a slightly rustic feel.

The brewery is split into two parts: a traditional bar style side and a casual, laid back seating area. They’re planning on having Trivia Nights in the future, and you can follow along with all of their upcoming events on their Facebook Page. Be sure to head over to Dissent Craft Brewing Company Saturday and be ready to try some unique and innovative brews!
