Daddies Donuts and Delites is transforming the 400 Block of Central Avenue in downtown St. Pete into a dessert lover’s paradise. Daddies, a sanctuary for your sweet tooth, is set to open at 449 Central Avenue right next to the likes of Il Ritorno, St. Pete Meat and Provision, and La V.
Daddies is the concept of “The 4 Js” – John Miller, Joel Cutter, Joshua Zitting, and Jerome Bailey. The quartet of dessert lovers had a standing dinner appointment together every Friday night through 2020. All four love to celebrate the burgeoning culinary scene here in the Sunshine City.

Daddies Donuts and Delites is a dream come true
During one of those weekly dinners, the 4 Js had a discussion about going after childhood dreams, and the possibility of starting a local business.
“After a few more dinner discussions, we went into action and started working on a concept, recipes, and finding a location,” writes Jerome Bailey. “When you walk into Daddies, we want you to immediately think of dessert.”
The walls are pink and teal blue, and the ceiling is raspberry; you’ll think you’ve entered the Candy Kingdom.

So what’s on the menu? To start, fresh donuts.
Made to order donuts loaded with your favorite childhood snacks
All donuts will be made to order, and a few of the teased options include:
Peanut Butter Packed: Chocolate glazed donut with peanut butter frosting and a chocolate drizzle
Raspberry White Chocolate: A glazed donut, dipped in white frosting, sprinkled with raspberries and white chocolate chips
Cookies & Dream: A glazed donut, dipped in chocolate frosting with vanilla drizzle and sprinkled with crushed Oreo cookies.
Aiming for a September debut
Other teased items include a Boston Cream flavor, a decadent Blueberry Lemonade donut, a French Toast donut, a Campfire donut, and more. A donut ice cream sandwich is also teased on their Instagram page, in addition to some of the tastiest looking cookies and brownies I’ve ever seen.
