My friends, we have some sad news. Burrito Boarder, a downtown hub that taught us the art of massaging a burrito, will close for good on Saturday, November 9.

The taco and burrito joint made the announcement in a Facebook post. The owners alluded to bigger and better things to come, so stay tuned for an announcement.

As a special farewell, Burrito Boarder will offer Taco Tuesday specials Friday and Saturday. That means $2 tacos and $1 Bud Lite drafts from open to 10pm. If you’re going to go out, definitely go out like this.

When was the last time you went to Burrito Boarder? Be sure to visit this weekend to say goodbye and to enjoy some seriously cheap tacos, y’all.

Burrito Boarder is located at 17 3rd Street North.

This news follows the announcement yesterday that Community Cafe’s lease would not be renewed at the end of November in the Grand Central District. The owners are currently looking for a new 2,500 SF space to move into soon. They’ve also launched a GoFundMe Campaign to help secure a new location.
