Here’s something sweet to sip on, St. Pete: tropical craft cocktails are popping up all over the city. That’s right. The EDGE District’s bustling Baum Avenue Market just landed a fun new bar to complement its exceptional food vendors.

Bar Tropica pops up in the EDGE District
Baum Avenue Market is a food lover’s paradise. Now, it’s a drink enthusiast’s paradise too. Bar Tropica, a juice and rum-focused bar has just opened in the food hall located at 1133 Baum Avenue North.
The owners will focus on simple, seasonal juices that can be paired with craft spirits, according to their Instagram.
One of their latest creations is the Pina Paradise, a mix of pineapple, banana, mint, lime, and coconut. The owners recommend pairing it with a white rum if you’re looking to add an extra kick.
Want a healthy juice boost? Bar Tropica also offers fresh squeezed beet and celery juice.

Mobile beverage company launches in Tampa Bay
Sipping Nomads is a full-service mobile bar serving events all over Tampa Bay.
Whether you’re in the mood for gin, champagne, rosé or whiskey, Sipping Nomads has your spirit covered. The mobile drink cart made its official debut back in February at Urban Comfort in the Grand Central District.
They’re set to serve drinks at The Hideaway Cafe’s 10th anniversary celebration on April 13, too. Listen, food trucks are great, but a mobile craft cocktail joint might be our favorite concept on wheels at the moment.
