Local favorites Frank Strunk III and Derek Donnelly will be among the participating artists turning longboards into canvases. Local Longboard Company, since its inception on the 600 Block of Central Ave., has become a vital part of St. Pete's skating community. They've carved out pieces for Eckerd College and USF St. Pete. The company continues to play a pivotal role in reawakening the Burg's skate scene.

On Wednesday, September 17, at The Raw Studio, attendees will experience a showcase of contradictions. The "Dis-Connected" exhibition invites attendees to absorb humanity through the eyes of Warehouse Artists.

The exhibits that will be on display during the week will challenge appreciators to contemplate their relationship with their friends, family and society. Participating artists compare the concepts of perfection, materialism, digital interaction and disconnection.
