The Naked Farmer on Central
For months So Fresh’s sign sat on the 200 Block of Central Avenue. I was eagerly awaiting the arrival of those steaming zoodle (zucchini noodle) bowls. It was initially slated to open in September, but it appears plans have changed. A new sign is up on the 200 Central Avenue location: Naked Farmer.
The description promises healthy seasonal dishes made from scratch. Its set to open in February 2020. You can learn more for now by visiting Naked Farmer’s website. You can also follow the concept on Instagram.
Locally sourced food will feature heavily on the menu, according to the website.

Bright Ice is a brand new ice cream shop in the Central Oak Park area of St. Petersburg. The small batch ice cream shop will open at 3701 5th Avenue North.
In addition to super premium small batch ice cream, Bright Ice will also serve up espresso-based drinks, ice cream sandwiches and pastries.

All of the ice cream is batched in the store. The owners all source their dairy products from a local facility in St. Pete.
Bright Ice will offer ice cream in its purest form. An official opening date is still TBA, but the owners have begun hiring and interested residents can apply online.
