Largest Mural in The Burg

The Burg is decorated with a multitude of murals that underscore the sense of community so heralded in the sunshine city. The Central Ave. facades are buzzing with excitement as the creation of the largest mural in St. Pete is set to begin this Friday at the back wall of the Florida Craftsmen on 501 Central Ave. The process will be transparent as the artists encourage citizens to watch the transition from plain wall to masterpiece. The muralist can be seen working on the art during this weekend's Second Saturday ArtWalk which takes place from 5:30-8:30pm. This work is a collaboration between local artists Derek Donnely and Sebastian Coolidge. The final product will be unlike anything you've ever seen in St. Pete and will be something far beyond your default graffiti piece. The aritsts expect the mural will take only a week to complete so get down to the 500 Block to document the process! Florida Craftsmen 501 Central Ave.

Desserts and wine become entwined in a most decadent union this Saturday, May 10, at Everything Dolce. Earn Fast $$$ with Project Azriel

Can playing a video game make you smarter? Groundbreaking research is taking place downtown this summer through Project Azriel that could serve to change the gaming world and the culture surrounding it. The game itself follows a heroic narrative of epic proportions with RPG style interactivity. The creators and designers of the game need your help! They are offering $150 to a select number of participants for their summer study beginning on May 22. The testing will take place over a 2 week period and require participants to provide pre- and post-training data. There will be 6, 60-minute training sessions per week for 2 consecutive weeks.
