Ready to Tap Into History?

St. Pete’s newest Craft Beer Cafe is open for business at the St. Pete Museum of History. Hops & Props has officiailly opened its doors with 24 local beers on tap. Owned and operated by the mother son duo of Lucy Ziegler and Eric Starr. Hops & Props will offer more than just brews; sandwiches, soups and salads will be on the menu whose thirst for knowledge is outweighed by their hunger for history. The cafe is open from 11am-11pm daily. You can find them inside the St. Pete Museum of History at 335 2nd Ave NE.

Local Longboards Rolls Downtown

The enigmatic craftsmen behind Local Longboards and Jon Stine Custom Woodworks are opening up shop on Central Ave. Their new retail location will provide ‘Burgers access to the custom boards composed of the sweat, grit and passion Jon Stine and company put into each project.  The company has left their mark througout St. Pete already, building bars, wall fixtures, custom chairs, tables and chalboard decks for local businesses and residents. Stine is hard at work getting the 629 Central Spot ready for an opening ASAP. Let’s hope the positive energy left there by 1 of 1 Customs sticks around for the Longboard Company putting this city on wheels and wood.

Deuces Live Sunday Market in Midtown

The Florida Main Street community, Deuces Live, will produce a market every Sunday starting April 6, from 1-6pm. The market enters the community just months after a long awaited and much discussed WalMart opened up on 22nd Street S and it seems these 2 new institutions are a beacon of hope for those residents with no means of transportation access to fresh affordable food. The Market will take place at 22nd Street S and 9th Ave.
