Feast in the Streets as WUSF Celebrates its Golden Anniversary

Prepare for an epicurean experience in an obscure location. Luxury is taken to the streets with "The Longest Table," an event benefiting WUSF Public Media while generating positive attention for the St. Pete community. The event features prix fixe menus complemented with unique adult drinks from some of the ‘Burg’s most adored restaurants including Marchand’s and Parkshore Grill.
This year, the event celebrates the 50th anniversary of WUSF Public Media and is acting as a fundraiser focused on the continued sustenance of the media in the Tampa Bay area now and in the years to come.
This Golden event will take place on Thursday, April 10 on Bay Shore Drive NE from the Museum of Fine Arts to the Vinoy Renaissance Hotel. Tickets for the concrete picnic range from $65 to $150 dependent upon the restaurant/meal you choose to indulge in. This is a 21 and over event and reservations are required. Check in for the event begins at 5:30pm with a grand toast at 6:15pm and, finally, at 6:30pm, the feast begins.

Putts For Mutts Coming Up in the ‘Burg
The goal of Putts for Mutts is "to save the lives of innocent animals by raising awareness and providing financial assistance to local animal rescuers through their events built on a foundation of compassion and love for pets and golf."
On Monday, April 14, starting at 1pm at the Renaissance Vinoy Golf Club, the organization will be holding a non-profit Golf Tournament benefiting the Pet Pal Animal Shelter & Humane Society of Northeast Florida.
