St. Pete residents hungry for the popular superfood cuisine made by Tampa’s Fresh Kitchen can finally satisfy their cravings. Fresh Kitchen opened its doors on 4th Street March 1.

The restaurant’s healthy bowls allow you to choose from several hot and cold bases (brown rice, sweet potato mash/noodles, veggie quinoa, kale slaw, perfect spice rice), fresh vegetables (parmesan broccoli, roasted mushrooms, buffalo cauliflower, Brussel sprouts), and proteins (grilled chicken, baked almond chicken, BBQ chicken, chia seed teriyaki tofu, tuna poke, grilled steak). You can mix up to 6 ingredients in each bowl.

Vom Fass Grand Opening

Vom Fass features a variety of high end oils, vinegars, wines and spirits. Their unique shop allows you to sample the labels of your choice.

They’ve been open for a few months but will host their official ribbon cutting/grand opening Thursday, March 3, at 5:30pm. They’ll be celebrating all weekend long with a slew of events.

On Saturday, March 5, Vom Fass hosts a scotch tasting. They’re sampling 4 scotches from the store’s collection. Those in attendance will receive a complimentary tasting glass. The tasting runs from 6-8pm and costs just $25 per person. Call 727-317-3926 to reserve your spot.

Dog Bar St. Pete

The wait is finally over, Dog Bar St. Pete officially opens its doors on March 5 with a special Grand Opening event. Located right next to Taco Bus at 2300 Central Avenue, Dog Bar combines a full liquor beer and wine bar with a private dog park.

The concept promises to be far more than just you average dog-friendly patio. Soon Dog Bar will open up membership opportunities for dog owners in the Burg. To be a member, your dog must be over 1 year old, socialized, spayed/neutered, and you must be over 21 years of age.

The grand opening festivities, which run from noon-2am, will feature live music, dog treats and drink specials.

Regular hours: Tuesday through Thursday 4pm-1am, Friday 4pm-2am, Saturday noon-2am, Sunday noon-midnight.
