Build your own ice cream sandwich shop arrives in the Burg

There’s now a create your own ice cream sandwich shop in the Burg called the Sweet Stack Shack — and it’s everything we ever wanted from an ice cream shop.

The idea is simple. Pick your top and bottom, which means you can mix and match warm chocolate chip cookies, snickerdoodles, brownies and more, for a super sweet sandwich.

Then select your ice cream flavor. Options range from vanilla to salted caramel and crazy cake.

Finally, go all in on the toppings.

You can lean in to the latest dessert trend with Fruity Pebbles, or go for something classic like chocolate chips — harkening back to summer days enjoying Chipwiches at camp. You can can also opt to heat up your ice cream sandwich. No pressure, but you should definitely get that dessert sandwich pressed.

Where is the Sweet Stack Shack located? The Sweet Stack Shack is located in the EDGE District at 1041 Central Avenue.

When is the Sweet Stack Shack open? The Sweet Stack Shack is open from noon-9pm, Sunday through Thursday, and stays open until 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Dig in, St. Pete! How would you build your ice cream sandwich?
