On Saturday, April 9th, a massive food and wine festival is taking over the St. Pete Pier. Presented by Mermosa Wines, Bubbles and Brunch Fest is bringing bubbly cocktails, fine wines and a southern low country brunch to Spa Beach Park for an all-day party by the water.

Festival-goers will be able to sample unique and bubbly brunch beverages, try the low country brunch, and get access to a host of local restaurants preparing brunch specialties for the occasion. The sprawling party will also be host to a stellar lineup of music, with an epic DJ battle between Best of the Bay DJ Sandman vs Runner-Up DJ Lady Shay, as well as a live R&B performance by J’Nelle. Additionally, Bubbles and Brunch will feature a fashion show of spring and summer looks, as well as a market packed full of local artisans and shops.

General admission tickets include event entry from 11 am – 4 pm, a commemorative event glass, and access to all of the festival vendors, bars, music and games. Bubbles and Brunch to benefit EmpowHERment

To make it even sweeter, proceeds from the specialty brunch cocktail cash bar will go toward EmpowHERment, the Clearwater-based community center that provides an outlet for women to connect, inspire and support one another. A wide array of wine and spirits brands will be on hand for what organizers have described as a chance to enjoy brunch, shopping, music and outdoor games on the pier.

Mermosa Wines, the host of the event, is Florida’s fist Black-owned winery, and maker of a fantastic line of sparkling wines. The low country brunch will be prepared by celebrity chef Lennise Germany, and the cocktail selection will be curated by Stephanie Miller Love of Epicurious One. The fashion show will feature Elizabeth Carson Racker Designs and Delyx Swimwear. J’Nelle, a Tampa native, is one of the world’s brightest young stars in R&B.
