Brick & Mortar Kitchen on Central Avenue might be one of the best restaurants in St. Petersburg. The wine, the steak, the poutine, the scallops, and the owners are all equally exceptional. The restaurant’s rotating list of surprising specials, mixed with an intimate dining atmosphere make it an essential visit for an local food lover.

It seems Brick & Mortar is spreading its culinary wings and launching a seafood restaurant. The restaurant recently posted a Facebook event advertising a new concept called Sea Worthy. A hiring event will take place from January 10 through January 24.

The owners are looking to fill positions for executive sous chef, line cooks, food runners, and dishwashers.

Those interested in applying/learning more should message Brick & Mortar on Facebook.

I’ll post updates regarding the new concept as they become available.

In the meantime, you can always visit Brick & Mortar at 539 Central Avenue.
