At the time of this writing, the sign above the future Bohemios location still says “BurgerFi”, marking the previous tenant to occupy 855 Central Ave.
“Everyone in St. Pete is so busy,” Bohemios owner Ronaldo Zeledon told me. “But we’re planning to be open on March 25th, sign or not.”

And that’s good news for St. Pete.
A go to favorite of the Sarasota culinary scene for many years, Bohemios is celebrated for its eclectic menu, featuring a variety of tapas that blend traditional Spanish flavors with modern culinary techniques. Among the most popular dishes, the perfectly crafted empanadas, succulent meatballs, and the exquisite Iberian ham. Owners tell I Love the Burg that the St. Pete location will remain true to their current menu, ensuring that the essence of Bohemios’ culinary experience is preserved.
Upon opening, they’ll focus on offering an impressive selection of beers and wines, thoughtfully selected to complement the tapas menu. Plans to broaden the beverage selection with a variety of spirits and cocktails is in the works with the intention to apply for a full liquor license.

Reviews frequently highlight the quality of the sangria and tapas, with many noting the octopus and Iberian ham as must-try items.
Clearly, the restaurant’s commitment to quality, authenticity, and a welcoming atmosphere is poised to make it a welcomed addition to St. Petersburg’s dining scene.
