We’re glad this is more of a “see you soon” than a “we bit you adieu.” The longstanding Cajun Cafe on the Bayou took to Facebook this week to announce they’re moving to a new location. The change isn’t by choice, according to the post. The owners assure that the new spot will come with certain “advantages,” but they’ll miss the old fish camp they’ve served Tampa Bay from for the past 23 years.

The post doesn’t disclose where the new location will be, so you’ll have to follow them on Facebook for more official updates.

“Our restaurant will be relocating a mile away from the current location,” the owner’s wrote in a message to their diners. “In the meantime, come in and say goodbye. Stay tuned for information about when the bayou shuts down for good and the opening of our new location.”

Good news, the Cajun Cafe is still open for now at 8101 Park Boulevard North in Pinellas Park.
