Black Radish opening vegan grocery store in St. Pete

Black Radish Vegan Grocer is one of our top reasons for driving to Tampa. The team behind the concept announced that a St. Pete grocery store is in the works during a celebration of Golden Dinosaur Vegan Deli’s 3rd birthday.

Black Radish currently operates a vegan grocery store in Tampa at 2923 N 12th St.

The concept opened its doors in Tampa just over one year ago amid the pandemic and has become an integral part of its community.

inside a small grocery story with two rows of of wooden shelves, and a small frozen section. Plants hang from the ceiling.

Quaint in size, this store is bursting with local flavor. In addition to some of the best vegan brands from across the country, Black Radish also supports small businesses in the Tampa Bay region. You can find Oopsy Daisy Sweets, St. Pete Ferments, and King State Coffee.

The shop also makes maybe the best breakfast sandwich in the entire city. Be sure to try a massive vegan burrito on your visit, or the Havana Hunny.

Black Radish’s house biscuit is divine, by the way.

Follow the vegan grocery store on Instagram for updates. You can also tune in to its Tampa IG if you want to whet your appetite for the delicious vegan things to come.

Check out this reel our friends at That’s So Tampa made at Black Radish in Tampa to get a better sense of the concept.
