A pair of local veterinarians are behind St. Pete’s newest animal hospital. Bayview Animal Hospital announced that it will be opening on December 5 at 2951 34th Street S, bringing much-needed animal care to the booming Skyway Marina District and the entire city of St. Pete.

The new clinic is being opened by Dr. Brett Zager and his associate Dr. Brett Zielinski (we’ll call them the Brett Vets), and the pet care center was born from a desire to provide the area with a full-time, neighborhood practice. By being an independent, locally-owned and operated clinic, Bayview Animal Hospital plans to give locals hands-on care from vets invested in the community.

Providing more care for pets is a natural fit in St. Pete, which was recently named the most dog-friendly city in America. With that in mind, Bayview is truly full service, not only offering a wide range of medical care, but also full daycare and boarding services. As for the health of pups and cats, Bayview provides everything from dentistry and wellness checkups, to medicine, surgery, and in-house lab diagnostics.

The practice is being founded on many of the same principles that make St. Pete such a perfect city for pets. With so much to enjoy, the core goal for the Doctors Brett is to ensure a longer, happier life for the pets we love.
