Stop, you had us at bacon, 3 Daughters Brewing. Some like crispy, others like it a little floppy. Some love it when a strip is covered in egg yolk and others like a little maple sugar on top. Listen, however you like, we can all agree bacon is great. Even turkey bacon or vegan bacon. We’ll take it in all forms. On August 31, 3 Daughters Brewing in St. Petersburg is holding a special bash to celebrate all things BACON!

The Beer and Bacon Bash will feature Tampa Bay vendors infusing the meat in a variety of sweet and savory packages. We’re here for Maggie on the Move’s bacon baklava, y’all.

Bacon-centric bites for National Bacon Day

Maggie on the Move won’t be alone at the event. Cuban B’s Food Truck is whipping up bacon and roast corn empanadas. The truck is also set to introduce Tampa Bay to the Triple B. This dish is made with an 8 oz ground sirloin and uncured bacon patty, cheddar cheese, applewood bacon, lettuce, and bacon-onion jam. It’s served on a buttery Cuban kaiser roll.

Need more bacon? We don’t blame you. There’s always room for more. Sarge’s Smokehouse BBQ is delivering the ultimate comfort food: Bacon-ated mac and cheese. Dive into an extra Large portion of Sarge’s mac and cheese, topped with candied smoked bacon crumbles, scallions, French fried onions and jalapeños, drizzled with a ranch or sweet chili garlic sauce, or both.
