After 3 Years, Witches BBQ Den to Close

After 3 Years, Witches BBQ Den to Close

In April of 2013, Brett Andress opened The Witches BBQ Den, a sister spot to the popular bar and live music venue The Ale and The Witch. After over three years of serving sweet potato soufflé, ribs, and pulled pork, all while serving as host to the best comedians, poets and singers in the Burg, the BBQ Den is closing its doors.

The 5,400 square foot BBQ joint will host one last blowout the weekend of August 12 to bid farewell to the St. Pete community. The restaurant will offer food specials all evening on Friday August 12 and Boxcar Hollow will perform live in the courtyard. The following day, August 13, the Den will feature $4 sandwiches (pulled chicken and pulled pork). On August 14, from 5 to 8pm, a list of talented local musicians who have graced the Den's stage over the years will perform live. The concert is free and open to the public. The upstairs bar will feature $4 drafts from 4 to 8:30pm that night.

If you love the thriving musical energy pulsating through the Burg, we encourage you to get out this weekend and say goodbye to this fantastic local business. Click HERE to learn more about the event. The Witches BBQ Den, 111 2nd Avenue Northeast, Ste 209.
