3 Haunted Trails You Can’t Miss This Weekend

3 Haunted Trails You Can’t Miss This Weekend

Tis the season for mischief, mayhem, haunts and treats. For some, those terms are not mutually exclusive, at least not in October. For those who delight in the lantern lit spooky trails and sulphur drenched floorboards of haunted houses, you're in the right city.

This weekend, the Burg will see a multitude of terrifying and fun trails open their gates. You don't need to venture to Universal Studios or Busch Gardens for the full Halloween experience. Here are the local spots not to miss.

Hellview runs from 7-10pm all weekend. Line closes at 9:30pm sharp! Free and open to the public, but donations are accepted at the entrance.

Prepare to experience the gut churning battle between good and evil. Dive into the horrifying narrative that has vexed the restless spirits of Hellview. Enter at your own peril! Ooooooh!

"This year the disappearance of Madame Oar is still leaving the power balance of Hellview in shambles. Swamp Water Maggie and her loyal tribe of were-wolves, the Lugaru family, have been battling every force of evil that rises within the walls of Hellview for years but a new power is growing.

Ancient drums can be heard ringing through the land. The serpent worshiping Blackwater clan has been seen hunting for sacrificial offerings to their ancient god. These cannibalistic inbred swamp people, lead by their high priest Hezekiah Blackwater, are some of the most feared denizens of the swamps of Florida.

What will you do as you walk through the middle of an unholy war that is bringing forth every spirit that resides in Hellview Cemetery? Can you dare make it through these Rites of Passage?"

Radley Haunted House, 3900 19th St N

The Radley House is open from 7:30-11pm, Thursday-Sunday. $5 suggested donation to enter.

The Radley House is a short and immersive haunt experience that drags you down into the depths of Dr. Radley's madness, only 30 minutes! Not appropriate for children under 8 years of age. As Chuck Palahniuk said, "Find out what you're afraid of and go live there."

The Haunts Of Newton Avenue: Midway Massacre & The Hallows, 5600 block of Newton Ave

Midway Massacre & The Hallows will be open on Friday & Saturday night from 7-10:30pm. $3 for each. NOT recommended for young children, no one under the age of 13 admitted without a parent.

Midway Massacre and The Hallows boast the kind of irreverent Halloween bloodbaths that Sam Raimi and Joss Whedon adore. Dark humor, cerebral scare tactics and a deranged environment make Newton Avenue a must visit block this October. The Haunts of Netwon Avenue proudly supports Pinellas Park Fire Departments and Biffs Kids

We know this is just scratching the surface of nightmarish happenings in the Burg this coming weekend? What spooky event are you most excited for. Let us know in a comment!
