Get ready to run, St. Pete! For fun, that is. St. Pete Run Fest is a 3-day celebration of keeping fit and active in the Sunshine City. With multiple races to choose from, that range from the lighter 5K to a Half Marathon, there’s a course for every experience level. The event is ocean-friendly too. That means no single-use plastics will be used at St. Pete Run Fest.
Participants are all running for a wonderful cause. St. Pete Run Fest has partnered with the St. Petersburg Free Clinic to raise funds for their Food Bank, which feeds an average of 60,000 hungry community members a month.
Cody Angell of St. Pete Running Company talks St. Pete Run Fest, kicking off a new training program, and his personal love for running. Run Fest is less than one month away, so now is the time to sign up and gear up for the race!

Raising funds with each mile you run
When you participate in the St Pete Half Marathon, 10K, or Sunshine City 5K, St. Pete Run Fest will donate 20 cents for each mile you run to the St Petersburg Free Clinic Food Bank. You can also make an additional donation online when you register for any St Pete Run Fest event, or create your own fundraising page to raise even more.
You’ll need to stay nourished before and after the races. Participants can enjoy the Rollin’ Oats Wellness Market and Cafe, post-race food catered by Outback Steakhouse, music, and craft beer from 3 Daughters Brewing.
30 DAYS LEFT until the St Pete Run Fest! To share the excitement, check out the official Rollin' Oats St. Pete Tropical…
After party in Athletes Village
There will be a post-race party, which runs from 8am-noon, at Albert Whitted Park in Runner’s Village on Saturday, November 16.
An expo will be held at the Mahaffey Theater Plaza on Friday, November 15 from 2-7pm, and again on Saturday from 6am-2pm.
The big half-marathon takes place on Sunday, November 17. Albert Whitted Park will once again be home to the post-race party from 8:30am-1pm in Athlete Village.

Can you handle the half marathon
Enjoy scenic views of the Sunshine City as you run along the waterfront. It’s a run, not a race, so enjoy each at your own pace.
