St. Pete’s biggest brewery is heading to the beach as 3 Daughters Brewing has opened a new location in Clearwater. Taking up residence on the third floor at 381 Mandalay Avenue above Hooters, the new tasting room houses its own brewing facility where it produces 3 Daughters staples like the Beach Blonde Ale, as well as specialty small batch brews available exclusively in Clearwater. The tasting room also has a full food menu available every day.
To celebrate, the brewery is hosting an official ribbon cutting with the Clearwater Chamber of Commerece on National Beer Day, this Thursday, April 7 at 4:30. In addition to giveaways and live music, $3 pints of beer will be available as guests enjoy sunset looking over the gulf.

This news follows the recent opening of a 3 Daughters branded bar inside the massive new Fit2Run location in Bradenton. The brewery itself is coming off a record-setting year of sales, having seen a 33% growth in distribution of its products, as well as record-breaking numbers in its St. Petersburg tasting room. Plans for the new Clearwater location had been in place since 2019, and the strong 2021 bounce back following 2020’s oddities gave the brewery encouragement to move forward with its first satellite location.
“While the past two years involved much uncertainty,” owner Mike Harting said, “we’re looking forward to bringing our 3 Daughters family to Clearwater Beach just in time for spring break.”
The new location offers 220-degree views overlooking Pier 60 on the beach and the intercoastal waterways of Clearwater Harbor from its third-story vantage point. Guests will be able to enjoy beers brewed on site, as well as fresh food from the kitchen.
3 Daughters stands out in Florida craft beer scene
3 Daughters Brewing is one of the largest independent breweries in the state of Florida, and its St. Pete tasting room ranks annually as the busiest independently owned tasting room in the state by barrels poured. While the flagship beer Beach Blonde Ale has been their most well-known brew since opening in 2013, the brewery has developed a deep roster of delicious drinks over the last several years.
The Florida Orange IPA, a supremely drinkable citrus-forward IPA, was introduced in 2020 and has quickly become a top seller, while the annual release of the bourbon barrel-aged porter has become a cult favorite among those in the know. 3 Daughters also has one of the most popular cider lines in Florida with its Key Lime and Raspberry Lemonade flavors, complemented by one of the most successful indie hard seltzer mixed packs in the state.
In fact, the brewery has even gone international, now distributing beer and hard seltzer in nearly two dozen countries. Its Florida Hard Seltzer line is currently the fastest-growing seltzer brand in France.
The 3 Daughters tasting room hosts a constant series of events, including live music every Friday-Sunday, regular markets, weekly trivia, and a constantly rotating list of 40+ taps with beer, cider, seltzer and house-made sangria. The brewery hopes to bring its lively, conversation-first atmosphere to Clearwater, where it will also offer a “beach bites” food menu during operating hours.
