We had a budding curiosity about the program. If you're looking for satiation that fuels rather than induces a food coma, we recommend you get out soon and taste these Healthy St. Pete certified treats. Here are our 7 favorite dishes that you need to taste:

Station House

In the need for a fit libation? Station House (260 1st Avenue South) has you covered. The Bramble, a violet tinted palate refresher, transports your taste buds to the Isle of Wight. The sweetness of the blackberry is balanced by the infusion of dry gin and lemon juice. It's the perfect preamble to a true foodie crawl in the Burg.

The Mill

The Mill (200 Central Avenue), voted best new restaurant in Florida by Florida Trend, requires no introduction. Their commitment to quality and freshness is evident in their squash bruschetta. The appetizer is made with cane butter roasted squash, uncured bacon, arugula, spicy pepita oil, vanilla balsamic and leek hay on whole wheat bread that is made in house.

Brick and Mortar

The farmhouse flatbread from Brick and Mortar (539 Central Avenue) is house made perfection. The dish is made with a fresh pesto comprised of local greens and herbs. It is covered in roasted mushrooms, parmesan, goat cheese and reduced balsamic, It's one more reason to visit one of the most popular new restaurants in downtown.

Il Ritorno

Dessert is our favorite meal of the day, and Il Ritorno's (449 Central Avenue) Tahitian vanilla bean mousse is an absolute revelation. Featuring house made Nutella gelato, a Callebaut chocolate shell and salted caramel, this sets a new standard for everyone's sweet tooth.

Parkshore Grill

Discover the lighter side of dessert at Parkshore Grill (300 Beach Drive Northeast). Sink your spoon into a dish filled with fresh local fruitsm topped with whipped vanilla mousee and shaved chocolate.

The Canopy at The Birchwood

What's good for the mind is good for the body, which is why a drink at The Canopy (332 Beach Drive Northeast) rooftop bar is your proverbial full body workout. You need to try their Stoli Spritzer, a combination of Stoli vodka and St. Germain elderflower liqueur shaken with grapefruit juice — nature’s natural metabolism booster and appetite suppressant — and topped with Italian prosecco.

The Lure

For those with adventurous palates, might we reccommend The Lure (661 Central Avenue)? You haven't lived until you've experienced the Kwai Chang tacos. These tacos are filled with jerk seasoned and deeply sauteed “chapulines,” a.k.a grasshoppers. Get your protein boost in an entirely new way, St. Pete!

We're giving away prize packages filled with $25 gift cards from the participating restaurants on each tour — Downtown 1, Downtown 2, Downtown 3, Downtown 4.
