Who would have thought that the bubbly, well mannered Jeff Philbin was going toe-to-toe with Chef Gordon Ramsey during one of Ramsay’s famous verbal lashings just a few weeks before stepping in the HMB “Studio”? He’s a fun and unassuming guy but after spending a few minutes with him you can feel the fire that burns with the passion of his craft. He’s not going to back down from anybody; even the fork-tonged, Uber-Chef Brit who is even more famous for his vocal-beatings than his globally recognized cuisine.
