Film lovers can already enjoy movies under the mythic Banyan Trees in North Straub Park and the surreal avant-garden at The Dali Museum in the Burg. Soon, they’ll also be able to take in their favorite classic films poolside at The Hollander Hotel.

Cinema Squatch and DJ Fresh Events have joined forces with the Hollander Hotel to bring vintage summer fun to the Sunshine City. On the final Saturday of June and July, the organization will screen a pop-culture gem on the big screen. Lounge poolside while your favorite cinema moments are replayed in all their glory.

The festivities run from 7-10pm, the film officially begins at dark. The Hollander Hotel is locaed at 421 4th Avenue North. Here’s the lineup:

Hollander plans additional vintage fun this season

Coming up on August 6, The Hollander will host the St. Pete Vintage Bash. Shop at Feathers, Fate & Steel Boutique vintage airstream during the event! Motorcycles for viewing by St Pete Powersports, Ronin Vintage, Euro Cycles of St. Petersburg and vintage cars from Burghounds Car Club.

The Vintage Bash will also include a vintage guys and gals swimwear contest, drink specials and a dance party with the Hot Rod Hornet and DJ Sugar Bear.

If you’re craving more poolside festivities, then join The Body Electric Yoga every Saturday morning from 8:30-9:30am. It’s $10 for those who pre-register, and $15 at the door.
