Frog Pond Hops Over to Webb Plaza

A popular St. Pete Beach breakfast spot is expanding to Webb Plaza (850 3rd Avenue South) in the Burg. Just a few blocks South of Central, Webb Plaza is home to Amped Fitness, Pinellas MYcro School, the Kidz Club and more. It’s also a short jaunt from Tropicana Field.

Hearty portions and amazing service

Frog Pond is known for its hearty portions and friendly service. Customers return for its exceptional eggs Benedict, gigantic omelettes and sweet Belgium waffles. The restaurant currently has two locations: one on St. Pete Beach and another on North Redington Beach. It has been in business for more than 30 years.

Owner David Hitterman works exhaustively to maintain a standard of excellence for service and food. It’s not uncommon to see him greeting diners as they arrive, answering phones, and heading back into the kitchen area.

Frog Pond hops from the beaches to downtown

Now, the Frog Pond concept moves from white sand shores to the bustling downtown area of the Burg. Glen Westbrook will take the ownership reigns at the Webb Plaza location.

The restaurant offers a new spot for residents of the recently completed Hermitage to grab breakfast. Its close proximity to several major offices in the Burg also primes it to be a clutch location for downtown workers.
